In the last couple of weeks, there has been a new image editor/creator called Nano Banana. No-one really knew whose it was, but suspicions were that it was Google. I was able to use it on some really old family photos to good effect.

Now it has been released. And yes, it is from Google. It is now known as Gemini 2.5 Flash Image Preview, and it is free to use. People have been saying that it will kill off Photoshop, and they may have a point.

I ran a test, where I fed it an old piece of my artwork - “Rat-Arsed”. I asked it to give me a realistic version. Here is the result and the original… And yes, I do know there is an issue with one of the legs going through the glass! I reckon I could fix that. 🤣
