Recently, a piece of digital artwork that I did way back in 2011 came up on my Facebook Memories. It was created using Sketchbook Pro on my (old old) iPad. I had completely forgotten about that particular software.
Roll forward a few years, and Procreate became my tool of choice. If you look at reviews, most say that Procreate is the better product. It is certainly more feature-rich.
I was surprised to see that Sketchbook Pro is still available. I looked it up in the Apple store and it is now quite pricey (it used to be free). Your purchase only gives you one year and then you have to pay again. It also looks like Autodesk is discontinuing support.
Compare this to Procreate with a one-off price of less than $20!
If you only want to use the software on an iPad, Procreate is THE way to go. But it is only available on that one device. If you want it for Android or Windows, then have a look at alternatives.

WOW Steve they are fabulous! My preferred art style is realism and these hit the mark. I must look into trying out Procreate.. have you got anything done with Procreate to show us? Thanks for sharing! Marg
